Steadberry have developed a close working partnership with our customer, maintaining their London estate through a pro-active, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) regime. The offices are in keeping with the customer’s global status and are amongst the most prestigious in ‘The City’.
The nature of our customers business requires 24 hour building occupancy, so when the canopy cladding at the entrance to their London Bridge offices was identified as presenting potential Health & Safety concerns, Steadberry were faced with the challenge of not only replacing the canopy, but also to ensure disruption was kept to a minimum. This was achieved through a phased programme of night and weekend working. Scaffolding was erected to create a full working platform, above the entrance, so not to affect staff access and disturb their working day.
Steadberry designed the canopy not only to enhance the building appearance, but also enhanced the Mechanical and Electrical infrastructure and improved access to services reducing long-term maintenance costs.
