Overview:
Steadberry were contracted by the prestigious legal firm, Davis Arnold Cooper through main contractor William Verry, to refurbish their existing offices at Bouverie Street, Blackfriars, with the specific aim on enhancing the working environment for their staff.
Steadberry staff presented and agreed the design proposal and final specification. The programme included complete ceiling and lighting upgrade, new bathrooms, kitchen floor coverings and decoration over 5 floors.
Steadberry implemented a phased internal relocation of over 400 staff, managing all moves and changes, including IT. All work was undertaken out of hours to minimise disruption and no skips were allowed on site, due to restricted space. Steadberry solved this problem by the organisation of a quick vehicle turn around system, removing waste continually when on site and ensuring a clean working environment for staff during the programme.
