Overview:
All financial institutions must ensure their operational capacity is available 24 hours a day to trade on the world’s markets and also to meet their regulatory commitments. Post 9.11, the world has changed and modern Disaster Recovery Plan’s have been designed to tackle the challenges of the future.
Steadberry have developed a close working partnership with its Customer, not only maintaining their London estate through a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) regime but assisting them to continually improve and modernise their internal and external infrastructures. Steadberry assisted their customer to upgrade and increase their Disaster Recovery infrastructure, based around the needs of the 21st century.
The programme was driven by specific IT requirements and included extending comms rooms, creation of new special air conditioned rooms, replacing internal ceilings, managing the air conditioning and ventilation infrastructures and was carried out over a 20 week period.
