We are only as strong as the communities we trade in. By paying a fair price to our suppliers and by selecting local suppliers we are supporting the community we live in.
Our people:
To encourage a successful business we need to develop and reward our people. We have one of the lowest staff turnover rates in our industry. We promote education and actively sponsor graduate schemes for our staff.
Health:
Health and well being depends on diet and lifestyle. At Steadberry we promote a healthy work life balance. We also provide a free gym facility for our staff.
Transportation:
By promoting the use of public transport and by supplying travel subsidies to our staff Steadberry´s are reducing our CO2 emissions and environmental impact by the way of travel. We do not provide company cars.
Accreditation:
Steadberry are ISO9001 and ISO14001 accreditated. By promoting current legislation and safe working practices Steadberry are positive that correct procedures are followed to minimise any negative social impacts.
Community Support:
At Steadberry we support a diverse range of local community activities.
- Steadberry sponsor local children’s Football Clubs.
- The OK Club is the Headquarters of the Oxford Kilburn Youth Trust. They aim to enhance the personal, social and spiritual development of children and young people, and offer advice and support to parents & families. Steadberry was involved in the refurbishment of the OK Club alongside the sponsor, McKinsey’s, by integrating volunteers from McKinsey’s into the site work force.
